A mum of three who visited McDonald’s every week for 20 years has won a “gold card” which will allow her to eat for free.

Charity worker Juenessee Malloy, 35, said she can’t believe her luck after winning a top prize in the fast food chain’s online Monopoly game.

Juenessee, of Stoneyburn, West Lothian, joins the likes of celebrities like Bill Gates and Rob Lowe who are also said to have a McGold card for life.

She been living in Scotland for five years after moving from the Philippines to marry husband Douglas, 64. She said: “I couldn’t believe it when I got a message to say I had won a gold card.

“I have been eating in McDonald’s since I was 15.

“The menu is slightly different in the Philippines where there is more pasta and rice on the menu and it is of course much cheaper. I also enjoy the healthier options on the British version but my children love the Happy Meals.

“It is good feeling to be in the same company as people like Bill Gates and Warren Buffett. I feel just as lucky as them.”

Her favourite dishes are the McPlant burger, Sweet Chilli Chicken wrap and the Philly Cheese Stack.

Top prizes in the game, where diners collect stickers online, include £100,000 cash as well as new cars and holidays.

About 2000 people win gold cards, allowing them to eat free once a week.

Juenessee, who will have the card for a year, won during a visit to McDonald’s in Livingston last month.

Ex-Microsoft CEO Gates’ card gives him access to any McDonald’s restaurant in the world, while Lowe gets to eat for free in his home town of Santa Barbara in California.
