Ex-President Donald Trump is now selling T-shirts with a picture of himself in an apron at a McDonald’s – but the fast food chain has distanced itself from him.

The Trump campaign in a text message blast to his fans offered a ‘McGift’ and provided a link to view it.

It led to a webpage with a white shirt with an image of Trump waving from the drive-thru window of a McDonald’s he visited on Sunday. Along the bottom of the print in the company’s red and gold colors was ‘MAGADonald’s’.

The webpage took aim at Trump’s opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris, whom he claims lied about working at McDonald’s.

‘I am the first and only 2024 presidential nominee to work at McDonald’s,’ states the page.

‘But thanks to Kamala, prices for a meal are through the roof!’

Trump pulled off a stunt working the fryer at a McDonald’s near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Sunday. He has not actually been employed by the company.

McDonald’s said the owner-operator of that location, Derek Giacomantonio, informed corporate that Trump wanted to visit. McDonald’s said it agreed.

‘Upon learning of the former president’s request, we approached it through the lens of one of our core values: we open our doors to everyone,’ stated the company on Monday.

‘McDonald’s does not endorse candidates for elected office and that remains true in this race for the next president. We are not red or blue – we are golden.’
