Investigators said the shooting stemmed from a robbery between three people who knew each other.

AUSTIN, Texas — Two people are in custody following a deadly shooting at an apartment complex on Wells Branch Parkway.

The Travis County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) said it was called out to reports of a shooting Oct. 17, where responders found a man in his 20s in a breezeway.

CPR was administered and the man was resuscitated before being taken to the hospital, where he later died. The man has been identified as 24-year-old Darrell Keith Davis of Austin.

Meanwhile, TCSO said 18-year-old Nathan Jamar Reed-Harper of Pflugerville was arrested and charged with Davis’ murder. An unidentified teenager was also arrested and charged with murder in the shooting.

Deputies said evidence collected in the shooting indicates the shooting stemmed from a robbery between the three people who knew each other.

Davis remains in the Travis County Jail on a $1 million bond.
