You’ll need to scrutinise an image to spot the anomalies, and the faster you can do it, the more perceptive you should be to things in your surroundings. The Reddit post above features an image of several dice scattered on a grey backdrop. The picture doesn’t have much else going on. But you’ll need to put that aside and examine this image closely, as there’s a puzzle waiting to be solved here.

You might have observed that all the dice are positioned so that the number five is facing upwards. Or are they? On closer inspection, you’ll find that’s not entirely accurate. There are five dice within the image that have a different number on top, one for each of the other possible numbers – one, two, three, four, and six.

Your mission is to seek out all five as swiftly as possible. Secured them? We’re about to reveal their locations – so hold off on scrolling if you’re still on the hunt!

Answer

The dice with the number one on it can be found in the top right of the image, and the number two is also on the right-hand side just further than halfway down. Three is in the top left quarter of the picture, while four can be found just before you get to halfway down on the left side. Finally, the dice with the number six is in the bottom right corner.

Commenters on the Reddit post praised the puzzle for being “fun” without making them want to tear their hair out. One person said: “Fun! And not too challenging. The 4 was the hardest for me to find.”

While another added: “Proud of myself for finding them all,” and a third posted: “Found all of them! The 3 took me the longest. Thanks for a snipe challenge I could actually do!”
