There’s growing concerns for the welfare of a schoolboy who hasn’t been seen for two days.

Carson Kinnaird, 14, has been missing from the Airdrie area in North Lanarkshire area since Monday. Police are appealing for help in tracing the youngster.

He is described as 5ft4 in height with short brown hair. Carson’s worried mum Jodie took to social media as she urged people to get in touch if they have any information.

She said: “Can everyone share this as wide as possible. My Carson has gone missing, last seen in Airdrie at 2.45pm maybe trying to get in a train from St Phillips.

“He had on a blue tracksuit with this puffer jacket on he is possible with another child from St Phillips. I just want them both safe so if anyone down Glasgow, Airdrie, Aberdeen please report it to 101 or myself. Thanks now getting worried.”

Anyone who has information on his whereabouts is asked to contact police on 101, quoting incident PS-20241021-2025.
