Dearing Elementary was placed in secure mode as a precautionary measure Wednesday morning.
PFLUGERVILLE, Texas — School activity has returned to normal at a Pflugerville elementary school following reports of nearby police activity.
According to the Pflugerville Police Department, officers were searching the area near FM 685 and Priem Lane in Round Rock for a suspect who stole a vehicle.
The search put Dearing Elementary School in secure mode as police conducted their search.
Police say there is no threat to the area and secure mode has been lifted. It remains unclear if a suspect has been captured.
