Katie Price’s Instagram stories recently featured a surprising image that left her fans in shock, as she posed with newborn twins. The model’s followers were baffled by the photo of the two babies, leading to rampant speculation and confusion.
One concerned fan took to social media to express alarm, posting: “if true, this is frightening” in a detailed message where they voiced their belief that Katie might be pregnant. However, the TV star isn’t expecting; the picture was shared in relation to an upcoming Channel 4 documentary that will explore her IVF journey, the Mirror reports.
In the photo, one baby is clad in pink and the other in grey, and while Katie’s hand is gently placed on them, their faces remain hidden, fuelling further curiosity about their identities. Notably, these infants are not related to her sister Sophie, who is currently pregnant with a baby girl.
The post sparked various reactions online, with one Facebook user mistakenly stating: “She’s expecting one girl” while another questioned: “She’s being trusted with someone else babies? ”
Somebody else wrote: “These are dolls.” Katie has openly expressed her wish to have more children, once declaring with certainty: “It’s going to happen one way or another.”
The mother-of-five has already endured a lengthy fertility struggle, which she faced alongside her then-boyfriend Carl Woods before they parted ways at the end of 2023.
Katie is set to share her heartbreaking struggle to conceive through IVF with new beau, Married At First Sight UK star JJ Slater, as well as with her previous partner Carl in the upcoming Channel 4 documentary titled ‘Katie Price: Making Babies’ that is slated for release next March.
Katie herself admits she “can’t” watch it back, while Carl is so impacted by the content, insiders report to OK! that he’s actively trying to halt the broadcast.
A source stated: “Carl doesn’t want it aired it was filmed when the pair were a couple trying for a baby. It would bring back hurtful memories for him and it would open up a can of worms and demons he’s worked hard to get rid of. He’s closed that chapter with Katie.”
