“This dollhouse is perfect for younger children and would make a great gift,” said a five-star review. “It is about 2ft tall so big enough for them to have plenty to play with without it taking up too much space. It is nice and colourful making it very engaging and comes with a little doll and a few pieces of furniture so they can start playing with it straight away.”

Another added: “My niece is now obsessed and is spending hours and hours playing with her new doll’s house. I’ve managed to take a look at the house itself after she was asleep and it does seem to be built well so I’m guessing it will live through any batterings it gets.”

Reviewers have noted a few things to be mindful of, however. “There are a few really tiny accessories so we have discussed these should never be put in your mouth,” said one safety-conscious reviewer. “Pity you have to assemble it,” said another.

If you miss out on this limited stock on Amazon, you can also pick up the dollhouse for £55 at Argos. For an alternative spin, Lego has its own 498-piece Gabby’s Dollhouse set for £69.99.
