A talented group of youngsters from a Stirling dance school treaded the boards at Glasgow’s Pavilion Theatre for a magical performance.
The 15-strong group from Stagecoach Performing Arts school in the city – aged between seven and 18 – took part in an eight-minute performance on the theme of magic, signing and dancing to songs including ‘Come Alive’ from the film The Greatest Showman and ‘Black Magic’ by Little Mix.
The students – who also took part in a mass choir performance – helped to show those taking part the diligence and training required for a role on stage, as well as building creativity and courage for their lives ahead.
Carris Donaldson, principal at Stagecoach Performing Arts Stirling, said: “We absolutely loved performing at the gorgeous Pavilion Theatre. Our students worked incredibly hard to perfect an amazing musical theatre piece themed around magic.
“Full of upbeat catchy songs, an energetic performance raised the roof of the Pavilion. We are incredibly proud of every single one of our students who showed tons of creative courage and passion.”
Meanwhile, one parent commented after the performance: “I was so happy seeing the evident joy in performing in all of the young people. It was impossible to leave without a smile on my face.”

The school has helped more than a million students unlock their creative potential over the three and a half decades it has been in operation, with the students helping round those in attendance into well-balanced individuals.
