There was double diamond delight for two Dalbeattie couples recently.
John and Nina Knox and John and Pam Winter recently celebrated their diamond wedding anniversaries.
The two couples have lived in Dalbeattie for more than 40 years, having enjoyed an equally long friendship, and shared a joint 60th wedding anniversary celebration with friends.
Both couples married in early October 1964 – John and Nina in Lancashire and John and Pam in London.
