East Kilbride MSP Collette Stevenson is hosting an energy saving advice surgery in the town centre next month.
The surgery takes place at Healthy & Active East Kilbride in the Olympia Court (next to the Odeon LUXE cinema) on Friday, November 8, at 10am.
Attendees will hear from Home Energy Scotland & Citizens Advice Bureau East Kilbride on how best to reduce energy costs and to learn more of what assistance is available for those who may be struggling to pay their bills.
Stevenson said: “The recent increase in the energy price cap affects us all, at a time when weather takes a turn for the worse and we’re starting to put on the heating again. There is support out there for people who may be struggling, so it’s important we use the resources available to us.”
Spaces are limited to 20 people, so those interested in attending are advised to email the MSP to confirm a slot on [email protected].
Alternatively information packs will be put together following the event, which can be sent out to those unable to attend.
