The dream of setting off on a holiday is always a delightful thought, but sometimes the trip to get there can be nothing short of a nightmare.

Between the lengthy drive, the seemingly endless airport queues and anxiety about potential delays – travel does have a knack for being anything but relaxing. Such stress might just explain why one traveller recently reached his boiling point when a fellow passenger encroached on his inflight entertainment.

Taking to Reddit to vent his frustration, the man shared an image of the woman sitting before him on the plane. In the photo, only her hair could be seen, and it was strewn across his screen repeatedly interrupting his movie-viewing experience.

He captioned the shot: “Woman kept covering my screen with her hair during a flight.” The picture clearly showed his obscured screen, likely putting a damper on his film enjoyment.

The post quickly sparked conversation on the internet where many branded the woman’s actions as downright “selfish”. Needless to say, she was only a small move away from allowing him a clear view.

This particular tale has raised more than just eyebrows, as lots of people on social media started talking about it. Some of the comebacks were rather funny though.

One comment read: “Start making braids, if she turns say you were bored.” Another person suggested: “I was going to suggest learning to tie knots. YouTube has many tutorials. And there are many strands to knot.”

Yet, not all people agreed. Despite it affecting his in-flight experience, there was a consensus on social media the matter might have been easily resolved.

Another person joined the conversation, saying: “Have you told her? People are dumb, and won’t notice people around them unless spoken to.”

A different individual contributed: “Speaking as a person with long hair, she must know. I always know where my hair hanging.”

Meanwhile, one more wrote: “Maybe just ask her to move her ponytail? She probably has no idea all this is going on right behind her. No violence or violent thoughts necessary.”
