Sports presenter and The One Show star Gabby Logan opened up about her only regret over her marriage to rugby star Kenny Logan.

Gabby and Kenny share twins Lois and Reuben, who turned 19 this year.

The couple first crossed paths at a bar in 1999 and married just two years later.

Since then, the couple has been inseparable. However, Gabby has revealed that she does have one regret about their marriage and life together, as we previously reported.

Last year, Gabby joined Giovanna Fletcher on the Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast, admitting that she and her husband were naive about fertility.

The couple welcomed twins Lois and Reuben through IVF in 2005, and Gabby shared with Giovanna: “I thought I’d have more children; I always thought I’d have four. Just the other night, I said to Kenny, when we were talking about our empty house and the future, that we should have had more children.”

She added that it’s not entirely a regret, as the circumstances were largely beyond her control due to the pairs fertility issues. However, she admitted she often wonders: “How did that happen?”

She continued: “I think I know how it happened, because when you have twins as your firstborn, you think life’s going to get back to normal and it never does.”

“I mean, that’s the same with everybody, but we were waiting for that day where we felt: ‘Everything’s under control now. Now we can have another baby.'” She then added: “We should have just gone for it straight away.”

In previous years, Gabby discussed the couple’s fertility challenges in an interview with Women’s Health magazine, expressing that she sensed something was amiss when they first started trying for a baby after their wedding.

She reflected, saying: “We were in our twenties and it didn’t happen straight away. And it didn’t after a year, and it didn’t happen after 18 months…we went through all the tests, and it was unexplained fertility,’ said Gabby. “And that was a really disappointing day to find that out, because, having been someone who was proactive with their health, I wanted to be told something that I could sort out and I was told to just carry on.”

During the labor of her twins, Gabby faced a gruelling 36 hours that led to complications, including severe haemorrhaging.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, she recounted feeling “extremely tired and as if I was drifting away” before being rushed to the theatre room, where surgeons worked for more than three hours to save her.
