Kamsinas (3:35) can silence his rivals in the Virgin Bet Daily Handicap Hurdle at Aintree.

Olly Murphy’s charge made rapid headway as a novice with some fine efforts in Graded company. The gelding was clearly over the top when well-beaten on his final outing at Cheltenham in April. The bay has been given time to recover so he can resume his upward curve for his thriving trainer.

Stage Star (1:50) can steal the limelight for Paul Nicholls in the Old Roan Chase. The top novice began last season by easily lifting the Paddy Power Gold Cup at Cheltenham. However, he paid the price for that triumph with several lesser efforts later in the campaign. The bay has undergone wind surgery so he can make another successful return in this Grade 2.

Torn and Frayed (2:25) can cut loose for Nigel Twiston-Davies in the veterans’ chase. The 10-year-old showed signs of a revival when fourth in a hot Cheltenham handicap in April.

The gelding looks ready for a return to three miles so he can extend his yard’s winning streak. Sunray Shadow (3:00) can make it a dark day for the bookies in the maiden hurdle.

Dan Skelton’s gelding was a close third to In Excelsis Deo on his timber debut at Warwick. That was a terrific effort so the gelding can open his timber account at the second attempt.

Joe Tizzard excels at Wincanton, so I’m backing KAUTO THE KING (2:42) in the veterans’ chase. The 10-year-old returned to from with an excellent second to Opening Bid at Exeter.

That was a strong contest so the gelding can go one better switched to this sphere. Credo (3:15) can repeat last year’s win for Anthony Honeyball in the handicap chase.

The nine-year-old held her form well in hotter company for the rest of the campaign. The mare has dropped to an attractive mark so she can strike again for his skilled yard.
