Country music star Jelly Roll stopped in Winder, Georgia, to perform a private show for Apalachee High School students and faculty.

WINDER, Ga. (WANF/Gray News) – Jelly Roll performed a private concert for the faculty and students of the Apalachee High School in Georgia on Saturday.

“This private event aims to foster healing and unity for the students, faculty, and families of Apalachee High School as they come together to reflect and support one another following September’s tragedy,” City of Winder said on Facebook.

The concert was held Saturday afternoon just hours before his nearly sold-out concert at State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

Apalachee High School students Mason Schermerhorn and Christian Angulo, both 14, and teachers Cristina Irimie and Richard Aspinwall were killed in the Sept. 4 shooting.

On Tuesday, alleged shooter Colt Gray, 14, pleaded not guilty to 55 charges, including felony and malice murder, according to court documents. Colt and his attorney also waived a formal arrangement and demanded a jury trial.

His father Colin Gray was also charged and indicted in connection to the shooting. He faces 29 counts, including second-degree murder, second-degree cruelty to children, involuntary manslaughter and reckless conduct. Authorities said they believe he gave Colt access to the gun used in the shooting.
