AUSTIN, Texas — Officials with Austin-Travis County EMS (ATCEMS) report that six people were injured after being hit by a vehicle near the convergence of U.S. Highway 183 and State Highway 71 near Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) Sunday night.

According to a post from ATCEMS on X, medics responded to the scene just before 8:30 p.m. and treated those involved.

Two people were taken to Dell Children’s: a child dealing with serious injuries and an adult dealing with minor injuries, while another adult patient was taken to St. David’s South with minor injuries.

The incident occurred in a location near where a major crash in which seven people were injured happened Saturday night.
