The wardrobe choice of guest chef Kate Carter-Larg sparked quite a debate among Saturday Kitchen viewers on social media, with some suggesting her outfit was “too revealing for a cooking segment”.
Adorning a strapless top and denim jeans accessorised with a leather belt, Kate’s appearance garnered varied reactions. While operating her St Andrews takeaway The Cheesy Toast Shack, Kate found herself at the centre of viewer discussions – one chimed in on social media: “She changed into that top to cook?!”
Another expressed their distraction: “I can’t concentrate on the show for worrying about her top falling down. She’s pulling and tugging it as it keeps slipping.”
A third commentator remarked: “I know… inappropriate dress code.”

The episode followed previous backlash from viewers who criticised Lulu for being the “most irritating guest ever” after she joined Matt Tebbutt, Georgina Hayden, Genevieve Taylor, and Jason Atherton on the BBC programme, where her frequent mentions of her age and grandchildren’s influence on her trendiness seemed to irk some fans, reports the Mirror.
She also had a lot to say about Matt’s seasoning. One viewer took to social media, writing: “Jesus wept. Lulu is THE most insufferable annoying person to watch ever. @SaturdayKitchen’; They wrote: ‘I thought Lulu on Saturday kitchen was very loud and obnoxious and why did she feel the need to keep mentioning her age? ”
