Over £100,000 worth of drugs have been recovered in North Lanarkshire.
Around 9am on Friday, October 25, officers searched a premises under warrant at Kilbowie Road in Cumbernauld.
Cocaine with an estimated street value of around £90,000 was seized from within.
A 26-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the recovery and is due to appear in court at a later date.
Officers carried out searches at two further addresses on Biggar Road and Carlisle Road in Cleland later that day.
Cannabis, estimated to be worth around £25,000, was recovered alongside various other drug related products.
A 25-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were arrested and charged in connection with this recovery and will appear in court at a later date.
A further man, aged 46, and woman, aged 47, were also arrested and released pending further investigations.
Sergeant John Logan of the Proactive Crime Team, Airdrie Police Office, said: “Recoveries such as this highlight our determination to protect the public from this type of harmful criminality.
“It also underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy and we will continue to work with partner agencies to tackle this issue and make our communities safer.
