Dumfriesshire‘s Caledonia Park Designer Outlet will celebrate Hallowe’en on Thursday (October 31) by offering families a free safe and exciting after-school trick-or-treating experience.
The Spooktacular Hallowe’en Trail at the Gretna centre will run from 4pm to 6pm, providing a bewitching adventure for children and adults alike.
Visitors are invited to collect trail sheets from the guest information hub before embarking on a haunted trick-or-treat trail through the outlet to spot 12 spooky ghosts hidden in store windows.
Upon completion of the trail, brave participants can return to the hub to claim their well-deserved sweet treats.
The event encourages attendees to don their Hallowe’en outfits, with the centre declaring “the spookier the better” when it comes to costumes.
Caledonia Park is also hosting a pumpkin decorating contest among its stores. Visitors are encouraged to keep an eye out for the creatively decorated pumpkins displayed in store windows and vote for their favourite via the Caledonia Park website.
The retail outlet centre’s director, Scott Wells, said: “Our Spooktacular Hallowe’en Trail offers a free and safe environment for local families to enjoy the spirit of the day, and we can’t wait to see the spooky costumes at the centre.
“I’d also like to congratulate our brand partners on their fantastic pumpkin decorating skills. From ET to Frankenstein, we have been amazed by the creativity of their designs and look forward to announcing the winning store in November.”
