Cops are investigating the death of a 60-year-old woman whose body was found in the East River off of College Point, Queens, police said Friday.

The woman’s body was found by the river’s shoreline by Herman A. MacNeil Park near the corner of 115th St. and Poppenhusen Ave. at about 3 p.m. Thursday.

First responders removed her body from the water.

She lived in Flushing, Queens, about four miles from where her body was discovered, cops said.

An autopsy has been scheduled to determine how she died. Police do not believe she was a victim of foul play.

Police are investigating if the woman had taken her own life.
