A young woman has traded flying around the world for a more risqué career path – and she’s now earning her former yearly wages in just a month.
Alanna Pow, who initially trained as a flight attendant, found the extensive 14-hour workdays and constant travel left her feeling isolated and worn out. So the 21-year-old packed it in to become a racy content creator.
She remarked: “My fun colleagues would also make jokes saying that I should make an [Only Fans] account. I just didn’t want to be that girl, but I already had my boobs all over Instagram so I thought it was worth trying. I honestly wish I had done it earlier.”
Following two and a half years soaring through the skies with a $49,000 [£24,000] salary, Alanna abandoned her flight attendant post. After pocketing an astonishing $60,000 AUD [£30,000] in her debut month as an adult content producer, Alanna realised this could be more than a side hustle.
The airline was less thrilled upon discovering her salacious side hustle. “It was so crazy to me,” Alanna said, reflecting on her newfound financial gains.
Her lucrative online spicy content creation enabled her to purchase a house at the age of 19, indulge in high-end garments, and enjoy luxurious holidays.
Discussing her final moments in her previous job, she revealed: “My last meeting with them was due to the fact that I chose to stay in my own accommodation during a trip to Bali. I didn’t want to stay in the staff accommodation, and so I booked a nice air BNB where I could film content.”
The Aussie influencer continued: “The airline found out about this and were upset at me for breaking this policy, and received a letter of allegation. At this point I didn’t want to plead my case anymore, so I quit and said I couldn’t do it any more.”
Alanna, who goes by @alannasworldx on Instagram, remarked: “They probably would have fired me, and on my last week when I came in they just told me to go home. It was the best decision I’ve made.”
Alanna expressed that her new lifestyle has been incredible, and interacting with her fans doesn’t feel like work. She offered her advice for others considering leaving their industry and quipped: “If you’ve got big boobs like me, you’ll slip right in. I feel like I was born to do this.”
