Exciting times are ahead for Peaky Blinders fans, as we have our first look at Irish film heartthrob Barry Keoghan in action.
The Saltburn star has been photographed alongside Sophie Rundle and Tim Roth as filming gets underway for the movie, which will conclude the story of the hit show after six series.
Barry, 32, joins the star-studded cast as a mysterious new character, with details of his role yet to be revealed.
One thing’s for certain, though, and it’s that he fits right in, as Barry well and truly looked the part while on set in Yorkshire.
The Banshees of Inisherin actor sported a flat cap, grey suit, and overcoat as he was seen closely following Sophie into a building in Bradford as cameras rolled on the hotly anticipated project.
Meanwhile, Sophie, who is reprising the role of Ada Shelby, wore a red coat and skirt with matching lipstick and hat as she walked alongside an unknown actor called Kasper Hilton-Hille.
These pictures will perhaps cause fans of the show to fear for Ada, as there’s a possibility of her meeting a sticky end.
Peaky Blinders newcomer Tim Roth was also spotted arriving at the building carrying a gun before emerging with the leather bag Ada was holding on the way in.
Netflix themselves have released a close-up shot of Barry in character, taking to X earlier today with a snap of him behind the wheel of a parked car.
Looking out of the window with his arm hanging out of the vehicle, a tattoo is visible on his right hand, plus various rings on his fingers.
Reacting to his casting, diehard fans were keen to express their excitement, saying Barry looks ‘fantastic’.
‘Loving the vibes Barry is bringing to this character!’, tweeted GuriaSays.
‘Oh boy!!! Can’t wait for this finale!!!’, added lifeechoes4real.
‘Barry’s got that gritty vibe, perfect for the Peaky Blinders world. Can’t wait to see how he fits into the gang!’, praised FrankieBro74254.
Photos of Barry on set come after our first peek at Cillian Murphy back at the helm as Tommy Shelby.
The famously brunette Oppenheimer star, 48, seems to have undergone an image transformation for the film, as his hair is now noticeably lighter.
Attempting to conceal his freshly dyed locks on a recent outing, Cillian covered his head with a hat, but his locks were then fully revealed in our first official teaser, as his hair now has a grey tone.
It was announced earlier this year that Netflix had commissioned a film version of the hugely popular British period crime drama.
Once again, creator Steven Knight is taking charge to ensure it retains the original appeal.
While the plot remains a closely guarded secret, Stephen Graham has revealed he’s set to reprise his role.
The Line of Duty star, 51, played Hayden Stagg in the sixth and final season, a union convenor who was stealing opium in storage at the Salthouse docks in Liverpool.
Tim Roth and Rebecca Ferguson also join the clan.
‘I’m thrilled to see the cameras rolling on this new chapter of the Peaky Blinders story, set during World War II,’ Knight previously teased to Netflix. ‘The country is at war, and so, of course, are our Peaky Blinders.’
On returning to the role, Cillian said: ‘It seems like Tommy Shelby wasn’t finished with me. This is one for the fans.’
