A Strictly Come Dancing behind-the-scenes feud has reportedly been revealed.
It’s been claimed two pro dancers have fallen out, have unfollowed each other on social media and are refusing to speak.
This comes after the scandal that unfolded at the BBC, with allegations against several professional dancers, and concerns raised about the treatment of contestants.
This season, Wynne Evans and Katya Jones have been forced to deny any feud after claiming the viral ‘hand incident’ was nothing more than a ‘very silly joke’.
Meanwhile, Nadiya Bychkova admitted she was no longer ‘friends’ with her ex-partner and fellow dancer Kai Widdrington.
And now it’s been claimed Nancy Xu and Carlos Cu have fallen out.
Nancy, 33, and Carlos, 31, don’t appear to follow each other on social media, despite reports stating they used to be best friends.
A source alleged: ‘The feud between Nancy and Carlos is really sad and has left everyone really shocked.
‘They’ve been close since childhood, but have fallen out and unfollowed each other on socials.
‘The atmosphere on set is said to be awkward and tense when both are around, and to many it was a relief when Carlos didn’t attend the show weeks ago.
‘Carlos is said to be subdued after the falling-out and is also struggling with not getting a celebrity partner.’
The insider added to The Sun: ‘His friends are worried about him as he is so far away from his family.
‘He has wiped all pictures of her from his profile and unfollowing each other on Instagram is the ultimate finality in their friendship.
‘With all the other drama in the Clauditorium, it’s the last thing bosses need.’
Metro understands that both Nancy and Carlos remain cordial and professional on Strictly.
This year, Carlos does not have a celebrity dance partner, while Nancy has been paired with Shayne Ward.
Carlos joined Strictly in 2022, saying at the time: ‘I’m thrilled to join Strictly and very excited to get started. It’s a new chapter of my life and a new challenge as well.
‘I’m absolutely ready to take on this journey and to shine.’
He’s since been paired with Molly Rainford and Angela Scanlon, while Nancy has been a pro on the show since 2019, and won the Christmas special last year with Jamie Borthwick.
Metro has approached the BBC and reps for Carlos for comment.
