BLUEFIELD, W.Va. – The West Virginia State Police said a Sobriety Checkpoint will be held in Greenbrier County later in November.

The Checkpoint will be on U.S. Route 219 in the Fairlea area of Greenbrier County on Nov. 14 from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m.

State Police said the purpose of the checkpoint is to find and deter impaired drivers and educate people on the dangers of driving while impaired.
