The Old Man season two is nearly here in the UK, but when exactly will it land on Disney+?
The thrilling FX and Disney+ series The Old Man is returning, continuing from the unexpected cliffhanger at the end of season one as the US Intelligence community began negotiating with Afghan warlord Faraz Hamzad (portrayed by Navid Negahban).
With Chase still evading capture, there’s a lot to look forward to in the new season of this award-winning drama.
The Old Man season 2 release date
The second season of The Old Man will be available in the UK on Wednesday, November 6, on Disney+.
It’s been over two years since the first series was released, and American fans got to enjoy the second instalment back in September on FX.
The Old Man season 2 cast
Jeff Bridges, best known for his roles in The Big Lebowski, Crazy Heart, Seabiscuit and True Grit, returns as former CIA agent Dan Chase.
He’s joined by John Lithgow of Dexter and Terms Of Endearment fame as ex-FBI assistant director Harold Harper, Amy Brennenman from Private Practice and The Leftovers as Zoe McDonald, and Alia Shawkat from Search Party as Emily Chase.
They’ll be accompanied once again by Navid Negahban, known for his roles in 24 and Homeland, as Faraz Hamzad and Gbenga Akinnagbe from The Wire as Julian Carson.
Joining the cast are Ozark’s Janet McTeer, playing Harper’s ex-wife Marion, and Women Who Kill’s Jacqueline Antaramian, who will portray Hamzad’s sister and advisor Khadija.
The Old Man season 2 episode count
The second season of The Old Man will feature eight episodes in total, one more than its predecessor.
While new episodes were released on a weekly basis in the US on FX, the entire series will be available on Disney+ from the initial start date.
However, there has been no confirmation regarding the show’s future beyond its second season.
