An officer with Albany Police made contact with John Warrener, the victim’s husband, who said he was inside the house at the time of the attack.
He told police that when Elizabeth Warrener entered the house after the attack, “her face was peeled off and bitten, her arm was broken and she was bleeding profusely.”
The officer said in the report that he saw large amounts of blood all around the property and a brown and white dog in the backyard of a neighbor’s home on Baldwin Drive.
