Former Strictly Come Dancing professional Ola Jordan has given her opinion on Pete Wicks after he found himself at the bottom of the leaderboard during Icons Week, saying: “He is on borrowed time.”
Pete, 36, a favourite from TOWIE, performed a Salsa to the iconic Queen track Another One Bites The Dust with dance partner Jowita Przystal. Unfortunately, their overall score of 22 out of 40 from the judges placed them at the bottom of the leaderboard.
Their routine featured daring lifts, but Pete made a mistake during the performance. He was seen apologising to his partner after their routine ended, suggesting he was unhappy with his dancing.
Now, Ola – who left Strictly in 2015 – has predicted that Pete will soon be eliminated from the competition, despite the reality TV star having so far avoided being in the bottom two.
In an interview with Mecca Bingo, she revealed that she believes the public “love Pete” but once he ends up in the bottom he “will be gone”, reports the Express.
“I can see Pete tries so hard and I felt sorry for him because he messed up badly at the beginning of his routine, but his lifts were amazing. He is on borrowed time, but people love Pete and he is getting the votes. He’s got an audience who are obviously voting for him and keeping him out of the bottom two.As soon as he goes into the bottom two, he will be gone because he’s the weakest dancer. He was by far the worst one in a competition on Saturday,” Ola predicted.
Icons Week witnessed Olympian Sam Quek and Nikita Kuzmin being sent home after a nail-biting dance off with Montell Douglas and Johannes Radebe.
The celebrities still battling it out on the dance floor are Pete Wicks, Tasha Ghouri, Wynne Evans, Jamie Borthwick, Montell Douglas, Jb Gill, Shayne Ward, Sarah Hadland and Chris McCausland.
