Incumbent U.S. Rep. Carol Miller, R-W.Va., won re-election to the House, the Associated Press reports Tuesday night.(WSAZ)

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – Incumbent U.S. Rep. Carol Miller, R-W.Va., won re-election to the House, the Associated Press reports Tuesday night.

Miller, who’s from Huntington, defeated Democratic challenger Chris Reed for West Virginia’s 1st Congressional District. Reed was a 2016 Mountain Party candidate for District 39 of the West Virginia House of Delegates.

Miller, a Republican, first assumed her U.S. Congressional office on Jan.3, 2023.
