Katie Price has opened up about having more kids, after she was pictured with “twins”.
The former glamour model left fans scratching their heads a recently with a snap of her “twin babies”. But, while the image didn’t appear as it seemed, Katie has admitted she’s keen on having more children.
The 46-year-old is already a mum-of-five but has made a Channel 4 documentary following her IVF journey. Filmed two years ago, it documents Katie’s journey as she attempted to welcome baby number six with ex-husband Carl Woods.
Katie and Carl underwent three unsuccessful rounds of IVF before they split in 2023. Despite the setbacks, Katie appears keen to welcome her sixth child into the world.
And on the Netmums Podcast, she revealed she is currently looking at other ways she can expand her family.
She said: “So, I’m at that stage and it’s like, I know I’ve got five kids and people will be like, well, you should be grateful you’ve got five. I am grateful, but I know myself, I want more.
“And I don’t want to be told by a doctor or something that I can’t have more. So I’m looking into other journeys that if I want more, how I can do that, because I know I’m not done. I know I still want, if I could have two more kids, I would.”
The two-part Katie Price: Making Babies documentary is set to follow the star through the highs and lows of undergoing IVF. It came as she began to suspect she was experiencing signs of perimenopause.
She continued: “Well, there’ll be a programme coming out soon about my IVF journey, because although I might act young and look younger, my body isn’t. My body’s still 46.
“And I was talking to some of my friends the other day, because sometimes at night I wake up and my bed is soaking wet, then cold sweats, and I’m like, what the hell is this going on? I still have my periods and that, so maybe I’m pre-menopausal? So I’m at that stage and I do want more kids.
“I didn’t realise until I did the IVF that when you’re born, you’re born with a set of eggs, and every period you have, you know, you get rid of eggs and stuff. So mine are quite old now, so it’s whether it produces a good egg or not.”
In an interview over the summer, Katie revealed she now suspects her eggs are “too old”. However, she revealed she would be willing to try a donor egg.
Katie has her eldest, Harvey, 22, with former footballer Dwight York, son Junior, 19, daughter Princess, 17, with her first husband Peter Andre, son Jett, 10, and daughter Bunny, nine, with ex-husband Kieran Hayler.
All of her children are set to star in Katie Price: Making Babies when it airs next year.
