The North Lanarkshire branch of Reform UK Scotland has launched in Coatbridge.
The team will cover the constituencies Airdrie & Shotts, Coatbridge & Chryston and Cumbernauld & Kilsyth.
Interim chair David Stark told Lanarkshire Live: “The SNP and the Tories have given us record high taxes and energy costs.
“In its budget, Labour has made life even harder for working people and pensioners.
“During October and November, ordinary people from all over Scotland have come together to form local Reform branches and tell self-serving career politicians that their game is up.
“The Holyrood election of 2026 can’t come quickly enough.”
Reform UK, led by Nigel Farage, has five members of Parliament in the House of Commons and one member of the London Assembly.
Following Mr Farage’s resumption of the leadership during the 2024 general election, there was a sharp increase in support for the party.
In the election it was the third largest party by popular vote, with 14.3 per cent of the vote.
