A record-breaking Rangers footballer popped into a Paisley restaurant ahead of the Premier Sports Cup semi-final.
Nedim Bajrami, who signed for the club in the summer for £3.4 million, stopped for some food at Il Pescatore on Bridge Street.
The restaurant lauded the Albanian star’s visit on social media last Friday – with celebrity chef Aldo Zilli also sitting down for a treat.
Gers attacker Bajrami played a vital role on Sunday when he netted the winner as his side came from a goal down to win 2-1 and clinch a date with Old Firm rivals Celtic in next month’s final.
Bajrami holds the record for the fastest goal scored at the Euro24 – he struck for Albania against Italy after just 23 seconds.
Il Pescatore said on social media: “First, we had the incredible Aldo Zilli, celebrity chef, grace our restaurant with his presence.
“Now Nedim Bajrami! stopped by to enjoy a meal with us.
“Good luck, Nedim! Thank you for choosing Il Pescatore – Paisley’s home for fantastic food and famous faces!”
