This includes dropping 27 percent off the Aberlour 12 Year Old Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl). Usually retailing at £45, this “smooth” and “sweet” scotch now costs just £33 – saving shoppers a neat £12 off the RRP.
Since it comes complete with a giftbox, Amazon shoppers have been bagging it as a present for loved ones such as their dad and granddad. Considering the same 70cl bottle is priced at £40 and £45 at Tesco and Waitrose respectively, we’d suggest nabbing the Amazon deal.
The award-winning Aberlour Speyside 12 Year Old Single Malt has been matured in sherry casks to offer a distinct “crisp, citrus character”. Offering a balance of fruit and spice, it has been praised for its “full body” flavour that appeals to those who prefer a less peaty/smoky whisky.
Instead, its sweet and spicy notes have become popular among whisky lovers who say that it is the “smoothest” scotch they have tried. Just some of the notes that come through include red apple, rich chocolate, ginger and cinnamon.
