Annie Kilner has given her followers an update on her life over the past month following reports that she filed for divorce from her husband Kyle Walker a few weeks ago.
The mum-of-four took to Instagram on Wednesday evening to upload a series of snaps from the past month on Instagram. Annie’s post was simply captioned ‘October’ with a star emoji and featured a snap of three kids playing in a ball pit, believed to include her youngest child Rezon, who is six months old, and two of his siblings.
Another photo showed a firework display, likely from Bonfire Night celebrations, while a scoreboard from a bowling alley was featured in another. There were also selfies of Annie modelling outfits in a mirror among other photos, the Mirror reports.
A beach was seen in another, while one photo showed two kids dressed up for Halloween. This post follows reports last month that Annie has consulted with divorce lawyers.
The 31-year-old’s relationship with Manchester City star Kyle, 34, has been marred by scandal in recent years after he was unfaithful and fathered two children with reality star Lauryn Goodman, 33.
Annie and Kyle have been married for two years and have four children together: sons Roman, 12, Riaan, eight, Reign, five, and six-month-old Rezon. Kyle also has two children, Kairo, four, and Kinara, one, with reality TV star Lauryn, 33.
Following the revelation that Kyle had fathered a second child with Lauryn, it emerged earlier this year that Annie was taking “some time away” from Kyle, although there were signs of a recent reconciliation.
In September, reports indicated that Kyle had returned to the family home, but it was noted that there was still “work to be done on both sides” for their marriage to recover.
Annie was later seen without her wedding ring and omitted Kyle from a social media post about her summer. Recent claims suggest that Annie and Kyle are no longer communicating.
Last month, it was reported that Annie is believed to have served Kyle with divorce papers at the beginning of October. A source disclosed to The Sun: “Kyle was stunned when he got the papers. He’s spoken to Annie about them and they are discussing the next steps. This doesn’t necessarily mean they will divorce.”
The source implied that Annie is “flexing her muscles” and signalling to her husband that she’s serious. Meanwhile, an insider told MailOnline: “She is divorcing Kyle because she just can’t forgive him for what he’s done to her. She can’t get over it. She has tried.”
According to the source, Kyle seems to have “accepted it’s over”. Annie’s romance with Kyle has become quite the talking point following the revelation that he fathered two children with Lauryn.
The drama unfolded when Lauryn, appearing on Celebs Go Dating, recounted how she first became pregnant by Kyle during a break from his relationship with Annie in 2019. After patching things up with Annie, Kyle went down the aisle with her, only for Lauryn to announce the birth of his second child last year, hinting at another rendezvous.
In a bombshell move, Lauryn revealed a screenshot in September of a message allegedly sent to Annie last December, exposing Kyle as the father once more, leaving a then-pregnant Annie heartbroken.
With rumours swirling over a possible divorce between Annie and Kyle, Lauryn took to social media to address comments about her financial situation should a split occur. Answering a fan’s speculation over her children’s financial security, Lauryn stated: “So many money questions tonight and comments.. really odd.
“To answer to help the little troll site you’re on … We already have something in place through the courts so our children aren’t affected if this were to sadly happen. I’m also raising our children to make their own way in life. I want them to have that go-getter mentality. I think it’s super important.”
She elaborated: “Silly if you believe that narrative. Doesn’t affect my children’s maintenance whatsoever. It’s totally different and has no impact. I won’t say too much, but this isn’t the case.”
