A package holiday company offered British holidaymakers an opportunity to leave the USA yesterday (November 6)as Donald Trump becomes the 47th President of the United States.
On the Beach, which offers holidays to destinations like New York, Las Vegas, Florida, New Orleans, and San Francisco, currently has hundreds of holidaymakers in the US.
With Trump’s victory the holiday company gave Brits the opportunity to book flights yesterday and leave ‘Trump’s America’ before his presidency officially begins, reports the Wales Online.
However, the company gave their clients the option to leave the country if they choose.
Zoe Harris, chief customer officer at On the Beach said: “Trump has all but claimed victory and we know that for some of our customers, making ‘America great again’ just isn’t on their holiday itinerary.
“If they feel that strongly about the result then we’re offering them a chance to change their flights and come home today.”
For those On the Beach customers wanting to come home early, they are urged to contact On the Beach’s helpful advisors as soon as possible so they can help change their flights home.
While offering flight changes for some looking to escape, On the Beach is also preparing for an increase in bookings.
On the Beach has reduced the price of holidays to the USA, offering a week-long trip with flights for under £750 during the presidential inauguration in January.
