Margot Robbie has been spotted in public with her newborn, days after the news of the birth of her first child with husband Tom Ackerley.
The Barbie star, 34, and husband of eight years Tom, welcomed a baby boy two weeks before her due date in mid-October.
Outlets have confirmed’all is well’ with the Los Angeles-based couple and their growing family.
And film producer Tom was even spotted out and about picking up some eco-friendly nappies.
It is also believed Margot’s in-laws – who now have 12 grandchildren – have flown from Surrey to LA to join the first-time parents.
Now the Hollywood star has been seen walking the streets of LA with her good friend, and fellow Aussie actor, Ashleigh Brewer, and a black stroller in tow.
The longtime friends both appeared on the Australian soap opera Neighbours together in the 00s.
Margot was wearing a pair of shades, a white blouse, black joggers and black Adidas trainers as she pushed the stroller along the sidewalk. The sun shone down was also shining down upon the two of them.
The Oscar-nominated actor was last seen on October 13 as she was leaving a studio in LA with her bump on full display.
Before that, her last public appearance was at a screening of My Old Ass on September 9 before taking a step back from the spotlight in the final weeks of her pregnancy.
As she enjoys becoming a new mum, she also has a new project to look forward to with reports that she and Jacob Elordi will star in Emerald Fennell’s adaptation of Wuthering Heights.
It’s her next big onscreen career move since Barbiemania swept the globe in July 2023 and picked up eight Academy Award nominations along the way.
In January, the LuckyChap Entertainment founder told Deadline: ‘This is the longest I haven’t acted on a set because we finished Barbie in October of 2022.
‘So, it’s already been more than a year since I was on set as an actor, and other than Covid, that’s the first time that’s ever happened.
‘Everyone’s like, “Are you having a break?” And I’m like, ‘You do know I’m a producer, right? We don’t get a break’.“
She added: ‘I also think everyone’s probably sick of the sight of me for now. I should probably disappear from screens for a while.
‘Honestly, if I did another movie too soon, people would say, ‘Her again? We just did a whole summer with her. We’re over it.’ I don’t know what I’ll do next, but I hope it’s a little while away.’
For now, though, Margot and Tom are navigating early parenthood.
The pair first met in 2013 on the set of the World War II drama Suite Française, and married three years later at Australia’s Byron Bay.
The pair keep their relationship private but have occasionally given the press an insight into their marriage.
‘I’m a great advocate of doing business with your partner,’ Margot told Porter in 2018.
‘Being married is actually the most fun ever, life got way more fun somehow. I have a responsibility being someone’s wife, I want to be better.’
