Nicole Scherzinger raised concerns among her fans after leaving a comment on a social media post by controversial comedian Russell Brand.

The 49-year-old faced serious allegations of rape, assault, and emotional abuse following a joint investigation by Channel 4’s Dispatches programme, The Times and Sunday Times.

Brand has always refuted these claims about his behaviour, which are said to have occurred at the peak of his fame from 2006 to 2013, the Mirror reports.

More recently, he has been vocal in showing his support for Donald Trump, the convicted felon and reality star who secured another term as President of the United States.

Not only has Brand been posting videos critical of Democrat Kamala Harris, but he also shared a photograph of himself holding up a red hat styled similarly to Trump’s “Make America Great Again” caps.

However, this one read: “Make Jesus First Again.” Amid a wave of support in the comments section of his post, Nicole’s interjection worried her followers.

She enthusiastically asked: “Where do I get this hat! ! ! ? ” accompanying her query with a prayer hands emoji and a love heart emoji.

It’s unclear if Scherzinger actually liked the post or whether she has publicly backed any political candidate. Despite what seems like an attempt to remove her interaction, eagle-eyed fans were faster and pointedly mentioned her in their reactions.

One comment directed at the star read: “@nicolescherzinger it’s too late boo, we saw your comment,” while another fan expressed disappointment: “@nicolescherzinger wtf girl, not it! “

One social media user expressed their disappointment on Nicole Scherzinger’s latest post, commenting: “So so disappointed, Nicole,” Another user took a screenshot of the comment and shared it on X, captioning it: “Scherzinger in Brand’s comments is grim.”

The post has since garnered over 2,000 likes. This week, the world was taken aback when Trump triumphed over Vice President Kamala Harris by securing 277 electoral votes.

Following his victory, numerous celebrities expressed their dismay on social media platforms. Christina Applegate urged those who support Trump’s beliefs to unfollow her.

Cardi B, who had endorsed Harris, posted a video of herself watching the election results, captioning it with ‘hate y’all bad’. Jamie Lee Curtis warned fans of a “return to a more restrictive, some feat draconian time”.

Billie Eilish, the singer of Birds of a Feather, labelled Trump’s win as a “war on women”, while Ariana Grande extended her support to those affected by the result, stating she “is holding the hand of every person who is feeling the immeasurable heaviness of this outcome today.”
