A second man has been arrested in connection with the death of Glasgow woman Sandie Butler.
The 40-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with Sandie’s death and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 11 November.
On 29 October, at around 12.55pm, officers were called to a report of a disturbance on St Mungo Avenue. Sandie was found seriously injured and died a short time later.
A 53-year-old man was previously arrested and charged in connection and appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 4 November.
Dozens of tributes previously poured in for Sandie following the shocking news of her passing, with many describing her as a “lovely” woman who looked out for others.
Lorraine Grant wrote: “I’m so so sorry to hear this. I’ll never forget the help you gave my sister, my thoughts are with your family and friends at this sad time xxx.”
Charmain Hunter added: “Not Sandie, she was such a lovely person. I met her the day she came to Ness and kept in touch since. Oh doll, my heart breaks for u pet. RIP Sandie, ’til we meet on the other side xoxoxo”.
