BECKLEY, W.Va. – It was all on the line Saturday at the Paul Cline Sports Complex, as the No. 2 seed Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles clashed with the No. 1 seed Hurricane Redskins in the AAA boys soccer state championship.

Hurricane would get out to a lead to start, as in the 9th minute Jackson Willis would score the first goal to give the Redskins at 1-0 lead. However, eight minutes later, Vince Umberger would send one into the box on a direct kick where Coby Dillon would score it to tie it up 1-1.

It would stay 1-1 the rest of the game, until the final 10 seconds, as after an AJ Bishop throw in, Bishop would corral it, dribble up the field and find a wide open Hagen Hall who gets one right by the keeper with 3.8 seconds to go.

Woodrow Wilson wins the AAA state championship 2-1 over Hurricane, the Flying Eagles first state title since 2010.
