PFLUGERVILLE, Texas — Pflugerville celebrated the grand opening of the city’s new multi-sport court at Stone Hill Park on Saturday.

The court, which was a collaboration between the city of Pflugerville, Austin FC and the ATX Foundation, gives those who use it the ability to play both basketball and soccer.

The mural on the court also makes it so that the possibilities to play are endless.

“This court is designed functionally to allow many sports to play on it, including basketball and soccer. But a lot of the designs can be made up into their own game – so we have little circles that might become a hot game. We might have lines that kids can run around and trail or chase each other on,” said Emily Eisenhart, the artist behind the project.

The court is open to the public and is meant for people of all ages to enjoy.
