ELGIN, Texas — A Central Texas resident is the winner of a $1 million!
Texas Lottery said the anonymous winner purchased the Lucky Millions scratch ticket in Elgin, roughly 25 miles from Austin.
The ticket – which was the first of four $1 million winners in the Lucky Millions drawing – was bought at Elgin Quick Mart, located at 13717 County Line Road.
More than $94 million is offered by the Lucky Millions drawing, with 30 scratch-offs per card. Game prizes range from anywhere between $20 and $1 million, according to the Texas Lottery.
Other recent Texas Lottery winners
Most recently in Texas, a lottery ticket worth $3 million was purchased at a market in Fort Worth. The lucky Mega Millions pick was sold on Nov. 8.
In Central Texas, another winner bought a $1 million Mega Millions ticket on Oct. 22 at an Austin convenience store.
Currently in Texas, the average annuitized jackpot for Nov. 13 sits at $113 million, with an approximate cash value of $53.4 million.
National lottery winners, games
On a national level, a Powerball jackpot winner was chosen last month for the first time since August. The ticket, purchased in Georgia, was marked at $478 million with a cash value of over $230 million.
The next drawing for the Mega Millions jackpot is set for 11 p.m. Tuesday and is worth roughly $334 million, with a cash option at $156.5 million.
Powerball winners are announced every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, while Mega Millions numbers are shared each Tuesday and Friday.
