A woman in Columbia, South Carolina, woke to find a slithering surprise behind her toilet.
Law enforcement was able to trap the ball python and get it into a pillowcase.
It’s unclear where the snake came from or how it got into the woman’s apartment.
Officers said they believe it is someone’s pet.
They’ve taken the snake in until its owner comes forward or until they help it find a permanent home.
