BECKLEY, W.Va. – The Raleigh County Commission is helping youngsters in the area have new fields to play baseball and softball next year.

Commissioners presented a check for $38,708 to the Trap Hill Little League today.

The money will be used to help get the new fields ready for next summer’s season.

The Trap Hill Little League community has been working the new fields since early in the summer. The new fields will be located in Fairdale, according to the league’s Facebook page.
