The stars of this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get me Out of Here! have landed in Australia. However, the first day of filming didn’t go as smoothly as planned!
The celebrities’ initial task involved parachuting onto the beach at Byron Bay.
While some managed the task with ease, others found it challenging. Journalist and Loose Women panel member Jane Moore had a tough time battling strong winds during her descent, which blew her off course, causing her to land among some tourists instead of her fellow campmates.
Eventually, she made her way to the other celebrities and looked immensely relieved as she hugged Coleen Rooney, this year’s most high-profile signing. The 38 year old WAG, married to Wayne Rooney, is reportedly receiving a whopping £1.5 million to appear on the ITV show – the highest sum ever paid to any contestant, reports the Mirror.
Social media star and podcast GK Barry wore a white jumpsuit for her jump. DJ and TV presenter Melvin Odoom was also waiting on the sand to greet Jane when she finally arrived.
N-Dubz star Tulisa looked super stylish as she wore an outfit which wouldn’t look out of place on Tomb Raider for her stint on the parachute.
The former X Factor judge channelled her inner Lara Croft as she donned a white crop top with matching cargo pants.
She was pictured dashing over to a waiting helicopter at a luxury waterfront mansion.
Each campmate must then skydive down to the beach with a parachute on their back to meet their fellow campmates.
Tulisa, 36, showed she might be a contender for the Bushtucker Trials as she took on the challenge with ease.
