The Royal Family are known for being in good health and taking care of their wellbeing but this cannot be possible without ensuring they do regular exercise and watching what they eat.

The late Queen Elizabeth had a healthy diet throughout her life and preferred simple dishes with lots of fruit and vegetables over any heavy sauces.

As we reported earlier this week, Queen Camilla has a peculiar snack obsession that’s packed with vitamins. The 77-year-old royal, who leads an incredibly healthy lifestyle alongside husband King Charles, is said to be fond of gardening, which led to her discovering favourite snack – peas, which are rich in vitamins C and E, zinc, and other antioxidants.

Another royal woman who has become famed for leading such an incredibly healthy lifestyle is Kate Middleton.

The Princess of Wales has previously opened up about her love for superfoods, such as avocados and green smoothies, but there are a handful of other nutritious foods that the Princess of Wales enjoys on a daily basis. And, following her recent battle with cancer, she’s sure to have stepped up her wellness regime.

The mum-of-three makes sure to include two particular vegetables in her breakfast each morning which are packed with protein and healthy vitamins, as we previously reported.

The sporty royal has publicly spoken out on many occasions about the importance of maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle and the benefits it has on your mental health.

And it seems that Kate does practice what she preaches as she’s known to include spinach and kale in her breakfast along with other healthy ingredients such as oats, avocados and spirulina.

Spinach is known for its many health benefits including stabilising blood glucose levels and improving bone health as well as being packed with iron, vitamins, protein and minerals.

Kale is also very similar in many ways as it is full of Vitamin A and Vitamin C which aids eye health, as well as a good immune system and cold prevention. The superfood can also keep your skin looking radiant and get rid of any scars or dark circles.

However, breakfast is not the only meal that Kate chooses to make as healthy as possible as she often enjoys a number of immune-boosting snacks throughout the day which carry many benefits.

The Princess of Wales is known for satisfying her hunger cravings with raw fruit and vegetables including immune-boosting goji berries.

She is also a fan of popcorn, which can be a brilliant and tasty-low calorie snack to keep you going between meals, as long as it’s not coated in too much sugar.

The same cannot be said for other members of the royal family however who seem to enjoy more of a sweet treat then the healthy princess.

According to former members of staff, the late Queen’s go-to treat was some chocolate biscuits before breakfast. Prince William is similar to his late grandmother in that aspect and is also said to love anything chocolate flavoured.
