Sharon Osbourne has stoked concerns about fresh cosmetic procedures after she admitted to having the “worst facelift ever”.
The television personality, aged 72, was almost unrecognisable while shopping in Los Angeles on Wednesday, leading to speculation from fans that she might have had additional work done.
Notably, her cheekbones were strikingly pronounced and one eyebrow seemed uncommonly elevated as she shopped at luxury retailer Neiman Marcus, in photos obtained by the Mirror.
Her refreshed appearance is noteworthy, especially since it follows a declaration made three years prior by Sharon—wife of Black Sabbath legend Ozzy Osbourne—about a facelift gone awry in December 2021, which left her with an uneven face and her looking like a ‘cyclops’.
The music mogul, who previously admitted to using Ozempic – a drug not originally intended for weight loss but has become a hit among celebrities due to its slimming side effect – described the five-hour surgery ordeal as the “worst thing she ever did”.
While sharing her experience with The Times Magazine, she relayed: “I looked like Cyclops. I had one eye here and one eye there and my mouth was all skewwhiff, and then I had to wait for that to heal before I could go back and have it corrected.”
Sharon hasn’t been shy about discussing her inability to gain weight following a dramatic three-stone weight loss attributed to Ozempic, normally prescribed for type 2 diabetes. Reflecting on her transformation, she remarked, “Everybody was on it and I thought, ‘Well, I’ll have a bit of that.’ And so this is the outcome. I’ve lost 42lb. I can’t seem to put weight back on, which is a luxury, but also it’s like, be careful what you wish for.”
Sharon Osbourne has been no stranger to altering her looks over the years. It’s believed she’s undergone four facelifts, with the first in 1987, another in 2002, a lower facelift in 2019 that left her resembling Elvis Presley’s signature snarl, and most recently in 2021, reports the Mirror.
In addition to Botox and fillers, she’s also had ‘lifts’ on her arms and legs, a tummy tuck following gastric-band surgery, and breast implants which unfortunately leaked. Due to her cancer risk, she underwent a double mastectomy.
Other procedures include liposuction, an eye lift, vaginal cosmetic surgery and a neck lift that resulted in a “fabulous décolletage”. “There’s not one part of my body that I haven’t had twisted, lifted, elongated, whatever. I’ve been messed up many times,” Sharon admitted.
Despite promising she was finished with plastic surgery in 2012, it appears this isn’t the case. She confessed on US show The Talk: “No more, because I have been looking at pictures of myself recently since I started to lose weight, and in a lot of shots, my face looks plastic and at certain angles I was like, ‘Oh, dear. Oh, I should never have done that. Oh, that’s a bad one.’ So I’m like, ‘No more. No more abuse.'”
Seven years on from her initial statement, Sharon Osbourne showcased the outcome of a lower facelift in 2019 on The Talk. She shared: “It was five weeks today that I had my operation. I had my neck done, my jowls … He kind of pulled it from the top of my head and put an elastic band in it. But everything was just lifted up. So it looks more refreshed.”
Previously in 2007, Sharon disclosed she had spent around £300,000 on plastic surgeries and ‘tweakments’, though now that sum might be nearing £1 million.
