Big Brother 2024 crowns a winner amid cheers and shock.

Friday night (November 15) on ITV2 brought about the thrilling finale of Big Brother, hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best. After six weeks of drama, from an initial group of sixteen housemates, only six reached the final stage.

Ali Bromley, Marcello Spooks, Emma Morgan, Hanah Haji, and Segun Shodipo were the ones to beat the odds and avoid eviction, vying for the ultimate prize. In the climax of the live final, hosts Will and AJ announced the elated winner who walked out £90,000 wealthier while being cheered on by the crowd.

The suspense intensified between the last two contestants, Marcello and Ali, and it was Ali who emerged victorious, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Overwhelmed and hugged by her fellow contestant, she exclaimed in astonishment: “Are you joking me?!”

Post-victory, talking to AJ and Will, her disbelief was palpable. Her prior predictions in the game were brought up during the Late and Live show by one presenter.

He posed to Ali: “You’ve said that you’ve been proven right at every turn in the Big Brother house, so did you see this coming?”

To which she responded: “No, absolutely not! I was ranked least likely to win I think within the house from the beginning.

“I didn’t think I’d win, I feel like I’ve made a few pretty good calls (within the house), maybe? But this one? No, I didn’t call it at all.”

The grand finale is set to be followed by an exciting announcement from ITV chiefs that Big Brother will make a comeback for a third series in 2025. This comes after a second Celebrity Big Brother series scheduled for spring, coinciding with the 25th anniversary of Big Brother in the UK.
