Viewers have rallied behind one housemate, asserting they ‘deserves your vote’ following the reveal of a ‘hidden argument’ during a Big Brother live stream.
Six contenders remain in contention as the live final approaches, which will see one victor emerge with a £90,000 prize pot. The finalists are Emma, Nathan, Hanah, Segun, Marcello, with Ali leading as the firm favourite, according to recent betting odds.
As of Thursday (November 14), the psychologist Ali has soared to 4/11 to win with Ladbrokes, closely followed by Marcello at 9/2.
Fresh drama unfolded after housemates received homebound messages, where Hanah’s friend cast doubts on Segun, who now languishes as an outsider at odds of 40/1.
Ladbrokes’ Nicola McGeady remarked: “If the odds are anything to go by, anything other than a win for Ali would be a huge shock. She has leapfrogged all of her housemates in the betting since last week and is now the runaway favourite for the crown.”
In light of recent developments, fans are passionately encouraging others to cast their votes for Ali.
This enthusiasm was sparked post-restoration of the live stream feature, which exposed fragments of a ‘hidden argument’ among the housemates on their last night, reports the Mirror.
A heated debate surfaced among the residents over their grievances with former housemate Lily, notoriously pegged as challenging to live with. The matter rekindled when Hanah divulged her past issues with Lily during a preceding task, resulting in their joint nomination for eviction.
Emma expressed frustration with the situation, declaring: “I didn’t want Lily here, she was making me miserable and you [Ali] were doing anything to protecting her, instead of telling her to change her f****** behaviour.”
Viewers quickly took to social media to commend Ali on her poise during the confrontation and her ongoing support for her friend Lily, who departed from the show the previous week. Ali had reminded fans that she had indeed addressed Lily over the concerns.
A clip of the heated exchange shared online prompted a viewer to commend: “Ali is conducting herself so well and I’m really sick of them all jumping on her at every given chance. Bringing up stuff the night before the final because most of them were too spineless to address it to her face for weeks.”
Another chimed in with high hopes for Ali: “She’s carried this series on her back, I hope she gets her £90k pay check tonight! If you haven’t already, VOTE FOR ALI Get all of your friends and family to do the same. She deserves your vote! “.
Meanwhile, some viewers were disgruntled by editing choices; cuts to B-roll footage and muted audio led them to suspect key moments of the row would be omitted from the final episode due to time constraints, prompting allegations of concealment.
Complaining about the live stream’s content, a fan posted: “I literally turned on this live stream because I thought it’s kicking off and all I’m seeing is the montage Big Brother, why is it hidden, play the stream, it’s the last day!”.
Big Brother concludes at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX
