M&S has gone and introduced a brand new light-up liqueur for Christmas – and it is said to “taste like a mince pie in a glass”

Whether you are looking for a gift or a party centrepiece, the retailer’s illuminated tipples have always had the wow factor. From the iconic sell-out globe-shaped gin bottles to last year’s seasonal liqueur trio, the range has been delighting shoppers for years.

However, this year there is something entirely new, with the launch of the Mince Pie Liqueur (70cl). Available to buy now for £20 from Ocado and M&S Food Halls, it is sure to be another magical addition for either under the tree or on your Christmas party table.

Unlike previous years, the liqueur is the first ever ‘touch-sensitive’ bottle, meaning there is no button to activate the light-up function. Simply pick the bottle up at the side to watch the Christmas tree motif lights switch on, with the retailer saying “it really is magic.”

Love the buttery, spiced taste of mince pies at Christmas? Then this will be your drink of choice. Packed with flavours of buttery pastry, zesty fruit and rich spiced mince-meat, M&S has said it is like drinking “mince pie in a glass.”

With its rich and bold flavours, there are many ways you can enjoy the Mince Pie Liqueur during the festive season. You can simply enjoy it neat over ice to savour the flavours, with the retailer also suggesting serving it in a cocktail, or even drizzled over your favourite pudding.

We’re not the only ones excited by M&S’ new light-up liqueur, as it has already gone down a storm on Instagram among dedicated shoppers who can’t wait to get their hands on a bottle.

One shopper said: “Always pulling it out the bag M&S!!! This is so cute.”

A second M&S fan praised: “They’re just taunting me now.”

A third enthusiastic shopper tagged their friend and added: “I hope you’ve got a bottle of this. Yum!”

If you want to get your hands on a bottle of the new Light-Up Mince Pie Liqueur, you can buy a 70cl bottle for just £20 from M&S Food Halls and online at Ocado.

Meanwhile, if you were a fan of the iconic clementine favoured Snow Globe Gin, you’re in luck, as it’s officially back for 2024. After not returning last year, the retailer announced last month that its bestselling tipple was back in stock, with a 700ml bottle also costing £20 at Ocado and Food Halls.

Amazon also has a wide range of deals on top-rated Christmas tipples you can take advantage of. This includes offering the Whitley Neil Mince Pie Gin (70cl) that is £22.99 on Amazon.
