I’m A Celebrity kicks off this Sunday with 10 famous faces gearing up for potentially the roughest three weeks of their lives in the Aussie wilderness.

The line-up dazzles with Strictly’s Oti Mabuse, Corrie’s Alan Halsall, broadcaster Jane Moore, radio talent Dean McCullough, songstress Tulisa Contostavlos and comedian Melvin Odoom. Also braving the bush are Coleen Rooney, boxing legend Barry McGuigan, GK Barry and McFly star Danny Jones.

In the opening episode, contestants are divided into two teams, with the foremost group convening at a swanky poolside mansion. Stepping out first is ex-Strictly dancer Oti, soon followed by N-Dubz alumna Tulisa.

They’re shortly joined by Radio 1s Dean, who brings a warm embrace while confessing his jitters, saying: “I’m shaking.” He completes the trio with Loose Women panellist Jane and pop-rock singer Danny, reports the Mirror.

Not missing a beat on making an impression, presenters Ant and Dec make their debut via one of five choppers landing nearby the bemused participants.

The celebrity campers learn they’re about to embark on an exhilarating race to claim the title of initial camp leaders. Following a sky-high jump, they’ll link up with another celeb, all gunning for the privilege of first leader status.

Whats at stake is the winners get to lounge in the plush Leaders Lodge and dodge the first Bushtucker trial vote.

However, the celebrities are then informed they must consume five dreadful cocktails and the speed at which they drink these beverages will determine the order in which they’ll leap from the helicopter.

The second group of campmates meet on a sunny beach on the Gold Coast as they embark on their I’m A Celebrity journey, unaware of the challenges the other group are facing.
