X Factor star Oritsé Williams has revealed his wife has given birth to the couple’s first child together.

The JLS singer, 37, took to Instagram to announce the happy news in a joint post with OK magazine.

The post shows the singer and his partner Kazz Kumar, who he married in 2022 in an intimate ceremony in Jamaica, with their newborn baby.

The pair previously suffered two miscarriages, making the news of their healthy baby all the more heart warming.

The couple met through social media in 2019, tying the knot three years later.

Oritsé, who rose to fame on The X Factor in 2008 with bandmates Marvin Humes, JB Gill, and Aston Merrygold, already has one child with his ex-partner who was born in 2014.

The pair first announced the news of their pregnancy last month with an Instagram post that read: ‘Overwhelmed with emotion, love, and awe, words can’t express how I feel about my Queen, my soulmate, my hero, and stunning Mama Kazz.’

Earlier this year, Oritsé spoke about suffering devastating miscarriages with Kazz, explaining how deeply affected they were by the experiences.

‘Baby loss and miscarriage is a very, very, very, very difficult thing to be able to deal with,’ the Beat Again hitmaker told Metro in an interview.

He continued: ‘You’ve got a lot of question marks that will never be answered.’

‘Her strength, her sacrifices, and everything she’s overcome to bring us to this point leave me in absolute wonder.

‘This journey has tested us in ways I can’t describe, but her courage has shown me the true depths of love and resilience.

‘We’re embracing this sacred time together in our little family bubble.

‘Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for everyone who has stood by us and continues to surround us with true love and support.

‘Your kindness carries us, and we are forever thankful to you.’

Oritsé went on: ‘Women go through things physically, emotionally, psychologically when it comes to that type of thing but [so do] men. I was left with certain scars and open wounds that needed to heal.’

‘I’ve learned from that and have grown. I’ve encouraged other men to speak openly and have had a lot of men reached out to me, saying that was really helpful.’

Oritse has been busy in the last few years with JLS announcing their return in 2020 – after teasing fans for months – with a tour and new tracks.
